      Role Description:

      The Network Strategy Consultant Advisor within Evernorth Behavioral Health is a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and performance of our behavioral health provider network. This role transcends traditional analytics, integrating strategic consultancy to shape the future of network curation, performance, and expansion. The Advisor will assist leadership in provider partnership development, refining strategic initiatives, and leveraging data insights to propel the network towards achieving excellence in behavioral health services. Through close collaboration with leadership and network partners, this role will ensure our network aligns with broader strategic goals, enhancing value and efficiency across the ecosystem. This role is designed for a strategic thinker and analytics expert passionate about transforming our behavioral health network through innovative strategies, data driven decision making, and collaborative partnership development.

      Responsibilities:

      • Support the strategic expansion and curation of the behavioral health provide network, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

      • Work with matrix partners, such as Network Analytics and Finance, to support network strategy and drive insights.

      • Consult with various teams on the need for market and competitor intelligence to be utilized.

      • Establish and maintain a robust process for tracking actual versus expected results, improving predictability and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

      • Engage in high-level strategic planning with network leadership to align network initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring cohesive approach to network development.

      • Foster strategic partnerships with key behavioral health providers, leveraging analytics to support negotiations and partnership development.

      • Drive the creation of a streamlined network analytics approach, standardizing reporting mechanisms and developing executive-level presentations to showcase network innovation and performance.

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Platinum Provider Experience team, to proactively identify and address claims, billing trends, and educational gaps proactively.

      • Champion the integration of Measurement Based Care Dashboards and alternative network performance metrics into our strategic planning and reporting eco-system.

      • Provide consultative support to network strategy development, emphasizing the identification and engagement of providers that align with our objectives for quality, innovation and efficiency.

      Tactical Initiatives:

      • Innovate and standardize network analytics reporting, transitioning to a comprehensive reporting package that incorporates insights from all network dimensions.

      • Create and maintain executive-level decks to consistently communicate network innovation performance, and strategic direction.

      • Implement proactive reporting mechanisms in collaboration with the Platinum Experience team to anticipate and resolve claims and billing issues.

      • Develop a robust framework for evaluating and reporting on Alternative Networks and Network Performance, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities.

      • Assist in strategic network planning, identifying and partnering with providers that align with our goals for quality, innovation, and efficiency.

      Qualifications:

      • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, capable of driving change and influencing outcomes in the organization, with a proven track record in healthcare or insurance analytics.

      • Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of driving strategic initiatives and fostering meaningful partnerships across and beyond the organization.

      • 4+ years of financial experience in the Healthcare Payor space preferred.

      • Expert with Microsoft Office, specifically PPT and Excel.

      • Strong background and deep understanding of health plan performance, provider rate structures, trend and driver analysis.

      • Strong proven track record of successful trend mitigation program development and execution. Up to date knowledge of shifting market dynamics (healthcare providers, employers, and competitors) to aid development of strategies and tactics to achieve affordability objectives.

      • Collaborative mindset, with experience working with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with overarching business goals.

      • Proven experience in managing multiple priorities and agility in adapting to change.

      • Ability to travel up to 10%


      If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

      For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 95,200 - 158,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

      This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
