- The Network Support Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, management, and support of our client's site and plant LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- This role ensures the reliable performance, security, and availability of network systems across the organization, supporting both end-user devices and core network components.
- Operate, maintain, and support the LAN/WAN infrastructure, including network service objects and LAN drops/access points for all connected end-user devices (desktops, printers, mobile devices, wireless nodes, etc.) in accordance with defined SLAs.
- Provide technical support for video conferencing systems, VOIP telephony, and wireless networks.
- Design, implement, and support network architectures and configurations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provision, operate, and support LAN/WAN services in a managed and integrated fashion.
- Maintain and support network tools, including but not limited to:
- Cisco Firewalls, Cisco IOS, Cisco Catalyst Switches, routers, and hubs
- SolarWinds, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, NetFlow Analyzer, CA Tool Suite
- Citrix Load Balancer
- DNS, Email, SmartFilter, IDS/IPS
- Cisco/Tandberg video conferencing equipment and management systems
- Ethernet technologies (Fast, Gigabit), SONET, ISDN, xDSL, LANSpan IP, Satellite, Wireless
- Perform real-time and proactive monitoring of network health using tools such as CA Tool Suite, NetFlow Analyzer, SNMP, RMON, ICMP, and packet sniffers.
- Detect and respond to potential security breaches using IDS/IPS systems.
- Coordinate response and restoration activities for service requests and performance issues, including after-hours incidents (24/7 support rotation).
- Manage incidents and problems using ITIL-compliant processes and escalate when appropriate.
- Execute installation, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) for network infrastructure, including new or updated cabling, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Maintain up-to-date topology maps and configuration records.
- Track network assets using SAP asset management tools and processes.
- Ensure compliance with our clients security policies and practices.
- Implement physical and logical security controls, including firewall configurations, user/device access controls, and vulnerability management processes.
- Act as the single point of accountability for LAN/WAN services, including third-party coordination.
- Monitor and report on key metrics such as latency, availability, utilization, and capacity planning.
- Prepare and deliver service and performance reports.
- Plan and execute network recovery and disaster recovery (DR) testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to validate network readiness and resilience.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration records, IOS images, and certified cabling plans.
- Provide ad hoc and regular reporting on performance, utilization, and capacity trends.

Participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule in collaboration with the Network Support Team.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCSP are required.
- Cisco/Tandberg certifications, such as TCAP or TCE,P are preferred.
- Proven experience supporting complex LAN/WAN environments, ideally in a utility, industrial, or enterprise setting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across a wide range of networking technologies and protocols.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based service management and incident resolution practices.
