What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of the company's production network
- Detect and analyze network events and provide timely remediation
- Document all alerts and actions taken in various systems
- Serve as a single point of contact for high-risk and service impacting events
- Interface with customers, engineers, vendors, and technicians to resolve trouble reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5+ years of experience in a NOC environment in the Telecommunications industry
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification
- Associates degree or higher or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of IP protocols and platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and network analysis skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in communications with other Carrier NOCs
- Additional certifications in relevant technologies
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and protocols
