      What you’ll do at Elekta

      The role of the Neuro Sales Director is to drive sales of business line Neuro – Leksell Gamma Knife and Leksell Stereotactic Systems here at Elekta in Region Europe. In this position you will play a key sales management role. Your team of Business Managers and you will be working with the region Cluster Leaders, Sales Directors, Account Managers and other sales personal to achieve the budgeted objectives of orders for the business line and its associated product and services. In addition, the Neuro Sales director will have shared responsibilities with the Cluster Leaders, Sales Directors and Account Managers for meeting the market share and profitability objectives for the business line in the region.

      Responsibilities

      • Work closely with the Head of Business Line Neuro on development of short-, mid- and long-term sales strategy for Leksell Gamma Knife and Leksell Stereotactic Systems in Region Europe
      • Work closely with Cluster Leaders, Sales Directors, Account Managers and other sales personal on execution of sales strategy for Leksell Gamma Knife and Leksell Stereotactic Systems in Region Europe
      • Be fully responsible for managing all aspects of sales process of Leksell Gamma Knife and Leksell Stereotactic Systems in Region Europe
      • Manage a direct team of three Leksell Gamma Knife Business Managers and indirect team of two Leksell Stereotactic Systems Sales Directors
      • Be directly responsible for sales of Leksell Gamma Knife in selected markets
      • Build and manage relationship with selected KOLs
      • Support regional and local tenders as needed, provide qualified support, and take a lead role answering questions and providing expertise when needed.
      • Support the general sales team with in-depth product expertise in all Neuro solutions.
      • Bring to the Neuro Business Line systematic feedback and requirements from the markets about the Neuro products and needs.
      • Provide input regarding regional promotional requirements for Neuro business line.
      • Identify additional sales opportunities into existing customer sites and into new sites in close collaboration with the local general sales teams.
      • Collect, compile, and drive budgets, forecast, funnel, and identify new sales opportunities to meet AOP.
      • Drive and support the commercialization process in the region, collaborate on catalogue implementation and execution.
      • Conduct periodical activity reporting.
      • Co-manage distributors, contribute to qualification and training.
      • Deliver product and sales pitch presentations.
      • In collaboration with architects, give advice of how to best configure Neuro solutions for acquired customers or upgrades.
      • Configure and price the clinical needs from the customer.
      • Review and support the full utilization and adoption of CLM.
      • Define and implement regional sales and marketing plans for Neuro business line by utilizing specific programs, respectively coordinating, and supporting country-specific sales activities and programs.
      • Attend and represent Elekta at conferences, symposiums, shows and other events as required.
      • Develop, implement, maintain, and follow quality procedures in line with company policy and industry regulations.
      • Drive efficiency programs identified by self or others within Elekta.
      • Incorporate and display Elekta values in all departmental functions and responsibilities.
      • Promote continuous improvement with a change agent approach where required.
      • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

      What you bring

      • Demonstrable business acumen, commercial and analytical mindset.
      • Willingness and ability to work both strategically as well as operationally. This includes the ability to interact directly with customers across all disciplines (technologists, medical physicists, radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, administrators etc)
      • Energetic and sales- and result-oriented personality that enjoys working in an international environment.
      • Excellent team player at all levels and collaborative interpersonal skills.Self-discipline and ability to work autonomously.
      • Persistent, enduring and prepared to make strong personal commitments.
      • Relevant Degree (clinical or business oriented) or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience.
      • Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry, neurosurgery and radiation oncology is a plus.
      • Medical equipment sales experience is highly desirable.
      • Fluency in English is required, preferably another language relevant to the Region.
      • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop/leverage internal/external relationships.
      • Ability to develop work processes and routines.
      • Personality based on strong ethical standards, values, and good judgement.
      • Project management skills
      • Willingness to travel on average 3 to 3.5 days per week.
      • High level sales and negotiation skills and experience.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Skilled presenter and speaker including in approved social media forums.
      • Capable, adaptable, and demonstrable multi-tasker.
      • Demonstrable customer focus and relationships experience and success.
