What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach via calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy and support school communities
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve sales techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers, superiors, and customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Noted leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
