What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and interests in hosting Book Fairs, setting appointments, and passing qualified leads to Account Managers
- Establish rapport with educators and administrators to emphasize the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management programs
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with peers and customers

- Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
- Proficient in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results
