We are searching for the highest qualified individuals in the restaurant industry to become a part of our New Restaurant Opening Team

      This is a part-time role (temporary assignment) supporting New Restaurant Openings Team throughout the country. Your assignment at each opening is to train new hourly employees for one week prior to the opening date. After the restaurant opens, you will help support the restaurant for an additional week. The schedule is dictated based by the New Restaurant Opening Schedule.

      Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

      • Ability to learn and adhere to Denny’s Brand Standards.
      • Serves as a role model by learning, demonstrating and upholding Denny’s brand standards and the Denny’s Way.
      • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to teach to a large group.
      • Demonstrate high sense of urgency, guest first mentality and passion to coach.
      • Excel in the area of communication and delivering Brand knowledge to new employees.
      • Facilitates training classes, workshops and working sessions.
      • Ability to lead, motivates, and empowers Denny’s team members.
      • Ensures highest training levels of training standards at all New Restaurant Openings.
      • Follows New Restaurant Opening systems and processes.
      • Supports the proper execution of all New Restaurant Openings processes, systems and standards.
      • Adheres to scheduled shifts and is willing to stay beyond when business or circumstances dictates.
      • Support identification and development of future leaders among crew members.
      • Evaluates crew member performance and provides feedback.
      • Maintain a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
