Job Description

- Work in a professional environment at an engineering consulting firm
- Experience working in tandem with engineers in various technical disciplines, attending meetings, preparing spreadsheets, visiting job sites
- Connect with other interns and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
- Be introduced to Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Be exposed to diverse engineering fields, learn to apply your skills to assist on engineering projects while working in a team environment
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
- Perform other duties as needed
- Must be a resident of the City of Newark, New Jersey
- Must be currently enrolled in a City of Newark High School at the time of internship
- Must have completed the 10th or 11th grade
- Basic Microsoft Office and/or Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills are preferred
- Must submit a cover letter that includes current GPA, grade completed, and a list of STEM courses taken
- Include a brief explanation of why you are interested in this internship and why you are the best candidate for the job
- A copy of your transcript must be attached to the cover letter
- A valid Social Security Card is required
