You’ll get on-job -training and experience the potential of Artificial Intelligence to revolutionize business oriented tasks in one of many departments.

All Newegg interns will receive a meaningful project and partake in an unparalleled educational experience on-site at our corporate headquarters (HQ). We’ll provide the tools and resources needed to learn. Our hope is that the challenging and creative work you do throughout your internship will directly contribute to the business at Newegg.

We are currently planning on having our internships 100% on-site and in person. With that said, the safety of our employees is a top priority. We will equip you with unlimited masks, hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes and other supplies as suggested by CDC.

Job Description

• This AI-focused internship opportunity is primarily within the Newegg Tech department, with potential collaborations across various business functions such as Marketing, PM, and Operations.
• Gain hands-on experience in applying AI techniques to solve real-world business problems.
• Participate in AI-focused workshops, seminars, and discussions to enhance your understanding of AI applications in e-commerce and contribute to identification of department improvements, fixes, and process changes..
• Complete an AI-centric internship project showcasing your ability to apply AI techniques to solve practical challenges.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• You are currently enrolled as an undergraduate student and are majoring in Computer Science/Data Science/Machine Learning/Robotics/Mathematics or another related major.
• You are able to commit to a 20 hours/week in-office practical training, with a minimum 7 weeks.
• You are comfortable commuting and working in our office in City of Industry, CA.
• You have an excellent understanding of and passion for online retail/e-commerce.
• You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a hands-on environment that values collaboration, innovation, and a strong bias for action and results
• Previous experience in e-commerce industry or product knowledge in computer hardware is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and a willingness to learn AI programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is preferred.
• Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.

Essential Mental & Physical Function

Must have ability to adapt and learn new software applications/systems.

Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.
