      Position Title: Newell Distribution Center - 2nd Shift Reports to: Shift Supervisor Location: Shelbyville, TN (1660 Railroad Ave) 2nd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 3:30pm - 12:00am; overtime and weekends as needed Job Summary: The Newell Distribution Center - 2nd Shift employee is responsible for processing orders through various areas, including those that require the use of powered material handling equipment in a manner that meets company standards for safety, quality, productivity and accuracy. Job Duties Could Include: • Maintain safe work environment by being aware of surroundings; following standards and procedures; complying with operating policies and regulations. • Demonstrate accurate and efficient experience conducting inventory transactions that meet production and quality standards as determined by management team. • Use a radio frequency (RF) scanner/hand-held gun, voice pick unit and computer to pick and verify items for selection. • Conduct replenishments, full pallet picking, put-aways and trailer loading/unloading, using powered material handling equipment. • Analyze and troubleshoot problems and resolve them such as shortages, quality checks, and correct quantity. • Pack box of items and stack boxes on pallets properly. • Secure and move finished pallets; move empty pallets. • Wear all required safety PPE and operate all work duties in a safe manner following proper procedures. • Take individual responsibility in keeping work area organized and clean. • Must be able to work in any area of warehouse as needed, including duties consistent with both driving and processing orders. • Maintain quality and production standards.
