What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate the Welcome Desk at the Nicholas Recreation Center, ensuring proper access control for members and guests
- Assist at the Member Services Desk with equipment checkout, towel distribution, and answering member inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive atmosphere in the facility
- Stay updated on all Rec Well programs and facilities to effectively assist members
- Respond to emergency situations as needed, demonstrating physical readiness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must attend all required trainings and meetings and complete necessary documentation on time
- Completion of I-9 documentation with Rec Well HR before starting work
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within the first month of employment
- Understanding and compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

- Familiarity with recreational programs and facilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
