      Salary Range: $16.00 Hourly
      Job Shift: Graveyard

      Description and Qualifications

      Night Audit is responsible for overnight operations of the front desk, accounting, and security of Blackberry Mountain. Responsibilities will include activities at the Lodge and throughout Blackberry Mountain. Overnight responsibilities also include interaction with guests requiring the Night Audit to be an able and competent representative of Blackberry Mountain. The major results of this position are to effectively handle any questions, problems, concerns, and needs of any guests related to lodging, food, and beverage as well as the general safety of Blackberry Mountain’s buildings and grounds.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Basic understanding of Windows programs and Point of Sale systems
      • Ability to follow routine instructions
      • Flexibility with scheduling for weekends and holidays

      • Desire for continued education and growth

      Guests Services

      • Answering and responding to guests' calls and individual needs
      • Late check-ins and early departures including luggage delivery and removal
      • Logging and delivering wake-up calls
      • Security checks and walk-throughs of the houses and cottage area
      • Light housekeeping in Cottages and common areas after late-night activities
      • Printing traces and arrival reports for the following day
      • Copying and delivery of the Times fax

      Accounting

      • Completion of opening paperwork for the next business day
      • Processing and delivery of guest folios with departure letters
      • Night audit entry and review
      • Support tasks required at various times by the Controller

      Security

      • Responding to fire alarms and taking appropriate steps
      • Observing property for potential security problems
      • Monitoring groups and individuals after hours

      Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

      Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

      To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required, as well as, the flexibility to work nights and weekends.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • None

      EDUCATION AND TRAINING

      • College degree or 2-3 years of hospitality/security experience preferred
      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • Must have a valid driver's license

      LANGUAGE SKILLS

      • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members

      MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

      • Must have an understanding of basic math and accounting functions for night audit reports

      REASONING ABILITY

      • Must be able to make decisions under pressure
      • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
      • Must be able to simultaneously manage diverse tasks

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      • Must be able to stand or walk for a long period of time
      • Must be able to personally manage time in order to stay alert
      • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
      • Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      • General office / front desk guest reception area
      • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
      • 5,200 acres of Blackberry Mountain property
