- Logging and delivering wake-up calls
- Security checks and walk-throughs of the houses and cottage area
- Light housekeeping in Cottages and common areas after late-night activities
- Printing traces and arrival reports for the following day
- Copying and delivery of the Times fax
- Completion of opening paperwork for the next business day
- Processing and delivery of guest folios with departure letters
- Night audit entry and review
- Support tasks required at various times by the Controller
- Responding to fire alarms and taking appropriate steps
- Observing property for potential security problems
- Monitoring groups and individuals after hours

- College degree or 2-3 years of hospitality/security experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
- Must have an understanding of basic math and accounting functions for night audit reports
- Must be able to make decisions under pressure
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
- Must be able to simultaneously manage diverse tasks
- Must be able to stand or walk for a long period of time
- Must be able to personally manage time in order to stay alert

Night Audit is responsible for overnight operations of the front desk, accounting, and security of Blackberry Mountain. Responsibilities will include activities at the Lodge and throughout Blackberry Mountain. Overnight responsibilities also include interaction with guests requiring the Night Audit to be an able and competent representative of Blackberry Mountain. The major results of this position are to effectively handle any questions, problems, concerns, and needs of any guests related to lodging, food, and beverage as well as the general safety of Blackberry Mountain’s buildings and grounds.
