      Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

      1. Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
      2. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
      3. Greet arriving guests and complete established check-in procedures daily to ensure guest satisfaction.
      4. Facilitate guest departures by following procedures to close guest accounts and determine future room availability.
      5. Calculate and post monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other credits using proper cash handling methods to ensure accurate charges at check-out.
      6. Answer inquiries and accept reservations in person and over the phone, utilizing PHC's reservation guidelines. Communicate hotel rates and information professionally, using suggestive selling techniques to create value for guests.
      7. Maintain good guest relations by staying informed about in-house and local events to answer questions and concerns promptly and knowledgeably.
      8. Operate PBX equipment for incoming and outgoing calls, set wake-up calls, and communicate effectively with guests to ensure timely service.
      9. Control and balance cash and credit transactions at the front desk, maintaining responsibility for personal bank as per hotel policy.
      10. Perform night audit to ensure all revenues are balanced nightly.
      11. Process guest mail, messages, and faxes by receiving, sorting, and distributing them promptly.
      12. Maintain communication sources such as logbooks to enhance department operations.
      13. Assist other team members and departments to support overall hotel performance.
      14. Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.

      Compensation: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
