- Monitor, motivate, and evaluate Warehouse Operatives performances to ensure customer expectations are being achieved/exceeded
- Ensure that training and development requirements of Warehouse Operatives are carried out efficiently
- To be conversant with site Health and Safety requirements and ensure all members of staff and visitors are compliant with these requirements
- Respond to and deal with customer or colleague communication, often through emails or phone calls
- Deal with the initial stages of colleague welfare, and ensure all are treated fairly
- Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment
- An Analytical and logical approach to problem solving
- The ability to work on own initiative as well as lead a team
- Flexible with work hours and days, with the availability to work overtime when required
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach teams to ensure excellent performance

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Night Shift Manager to join our team in Daventry, helping to support our Daikin contract. You will play a vital role in ensuring colleagues meet, or exceed, their operational requirements within specific contracts. You will also work alongside management to supervise warehouse-related processes and associated warehouse functions as required.
This is a full-time, permanent position working on an ‘any 5 from 7‘ shift pattern, between the hours of 22:00 and 06:30.
