Preparation of various metals following blueprints to supply the fabrication/welding department utilizing tools and equipment to include but not limited to bandsaws, plate shear, ironworker, belt sander, hand tools.
- Must have experience operating a metal/plate shear, and press brake.
- High School Diploma
- Accurately read a tape measure.
- Basic Math Skills
- Identify fraction and decimal equivalents.
- Basic blueprint reading.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Willingness to learn.
- Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Position Requirements:
Wage Ranges: Depending on experience and skill level. $19-$25. There is a night shift differential pay of additional $3.00 paid per hour. Must be able to work weekly overtime and have good, dependable attendance.
