Sustaining processes in semiconductor fab manufacturing operations.
Responding to any real time process excursions in the manufacturing line so as to mitigate any impact to material and documenting all things in detail.
Identifying end point, wafer scrap, rework, throughput, green to green GTG time, yield, and other operational improvements to maximize output while reducing cost and improving the safety and quality of operations.
Equipment ownership- availability, troubleshooting, installation, continuous improvement (CIP) projects for equipment hardware, tool matching, etc
Developing solutions to problems based on engineering judgement.
Working in a highly matrixed environment interfacing with technicians on floor, Integration, multiple process area Module Tool Owners/Group Leaders (GLs).
Training Technicians and new engineers
Be the point of contact for issues with process/module and tools you would own.
Demonstrated capability working in a high performing team culture which includes: excellent teamwork and leadership skills, demonstrated problem solving and prioritization skills, and participating in Continuous Improvements through applying LEAN principles.
Detail oriented problem solver, sense of urgency and commitment to achieve targeted goals.
Strong written, verbal communication with appropriate documentation. Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization.
Teamwork, collaboration, and influencing skills.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, team environment and troubleshooting in a 24/7 production environment.
Maintain flexibility with changing priorities and responsibilities to support.
The candidate must have an MS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or any related field.
3+ years of experience in CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization)
Knowledge of statistics and experimental design
