- Oversee the day-to-day operation and functionality of NOC applications, including call center, alarm reporting, email management, project management, and circuit design tools.
- Identify and implement enhancements to improve usability, efficiency, and automation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting application-related issues within the NOC.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to optimize system performance and ensure seamless integration between applications.
- Manage user access, configurations, and upgrades to maintain application reliability.
- Develop and maintain NOC performance dashboards to track KPIs, technical scorecards, and operational metrics.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple applications to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on system performance and historical trends.
- Assist in creating reports that highlight network performance, alarm trends, ticket resolution times, and call center analytics.
- Work closely with NOC engineers, analysts, and leadership to understand pain points and recommend improvements.
- Lead training sessions for NOC staff on system updates, best practices, and new tools.
- Partner with IT and software development teams to align application enhancements with business needs.
- Participate in strategic projects related to process automation, system integrations, and data visualization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in network operations, IT applications, or data analytics.
- Strong understanding of NOC operations and network monitoring tools primarily SolarWinds and deployment of the system in an existing environment.
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, call center applications, and alarm management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in telecommunications, ISP, or managed services.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management best practices.
- Previous experience in process automation or scripting to enhance workflows.

NOC Applications & Analytics Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled NOC Applications & Analytics Specialist to manage and enhance the tools and applications used within our Network Operations Center (NOC). This role is responsible for optimizing existing systems, ensuring they support operational efficiency, and providing data-driven insights to aid decision-making. The ideal candidate will collaborate with NOC personnel and management to enhance application functionality, improve workflows, and generate key performance metrics.
