Job Description
- Req#: 133492BR
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bethpage NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 2 of year experience in analyze alarms and alerts to assess the extent and duration of impact to external and internal customers.
- Network Administrator or network engineer experience.
- Cable / MSO experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VOIP, Broadband, Network transmission
- Junior Linux or windows level System admin experience.
- Support Incident managers as Scribe, or Communications Facilitator during Sev1, Sev2 outages. For Sev 4 and higher outages NOC Operators may perform as incident managers.

- Ability to interact with senior staff and with technical/engineering personnel.
- Technical certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic level knowledge in broadband concepts.
- Ability to work an extended and flexible work schedule is required.
