What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Acquire, develop, and edit works of non-fiction
- Assess potential value of non-fiction submissions and advise on publication strategies
- Manage nonfiction editorial staff
- Work with authors on concepts, outlines, and revisions of manuscripts
- Consult with other departments on schedule, design, and packaging of books

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7-10 years book editorial experience
- Strong understanding of competition and non-fiction marketplace
- Strong line and conceptual editing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior supervisory experience and ability to manage staff
