- Oversee and implement early childhood education initiatives, ensuring alignment with Impact Alamance?s Smarter priorities.
- Support the development and execution of Kindergarten Readiness programs, including Ready Freddy, The Basics, and Early Development Instrument efforts.
- Assist in coordinating and managing early learning pilot programs and interventions.
- Ensure programmatic alignment with policy and advocacy efforts, in collaboration with the Director of Communications & Advocacy.
- Support the grantmaking process for early childhood education programs, ensuring alignment with strategic funding priorities.
- Provide technical assistance to grantees, helping them improve program implementation, data tracking, and evaluation.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure compliance with grant reporting and budget tracking.
- Monitor funded programs, ensuring measurable impact and alignment with education best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with early childhood educators, nonprofit organizations, and policymakers.
- Serve as a liaison to NCNG Early Childhood Funders Collaborative, local pre-K providers, and school districts.
- Represent Impact Alamance in early childhood-focused coalitions, working groups, and community discussions.
- Facilitate family and caregiver engagement initiatives, ensuring parent voices shape program development.
- Track early childhood program outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze and share program insights with the VP of Programs, Smarter, grantees, and community partners.
- Support early learning programs in implementing assessment tools, such as the Early Development Instrument (EDI), to measure school readiness trends.
- Provide training and support for early childhood providers, teachers, and nonprofit leaders.
- Work with community partners to increase access to high-quality early learning experiences for all children.
- Collaborate with the VP of Programs, Smarter, to enhance professional development opportunities for educators.
