      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Grow and manage a portfolio of commercial lines business, including advising other underwriters and support staff
      - Analyze and assess exposures and acceptable risks for Nonprofit Human Service Organizations and Education Institutions
      - Build successful relationships with agents to drive increased business flow
      - Underwrite renewals and escalate referrals requiring additional review or approval from higher-level underwriters
      - Communicate regularly with portfolio team members on the health of assigned agencies and market conditions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
      - 5+ years of underwriting experience in all commercial lines including Commercial Property, General Liability, and Professional Liability
      - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
      - Ability to analyze and make timely decisions
      - Working towards or already possess CPCU or other industry equivalent certification

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in Nonprofit Human Services and Education underwriting
      - Strong customer service and business acumen
      - Experience conducting peer audits and training new hires
      - Proven track record of building agency relationships
      - Ability to mentor and provide feedback to lower authority level associates
