You will serve as the interface between the factories, R&D, purchasing and marketing.

As a Costs Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the overall coordination of all quality activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensuring that defined Q-methods (e.g., FMEA) are applied in projects
• Tracking the maturity level of projects
• Conducting process audits
• Identifying quality risks and defining countermeasures
• Supporting safe launch activities within the product group
• Coordinating projects for continuous improvement within the product group (new and existing products)
• Reporting and monitoring quality metrics (error rates and costs)

Skills:

• Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in quality management and expertise in quality processes and quality management with ISO 9001, ideally also with IATF 16949
• Solid knowledge of APQP/Stage Gate Process
• Additional training in quality management (e.g., auditor, Six Sigma) is desirable
• Fluent English language skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of MS Project and SAP is desirable
