      Do you want to help customers increase efficiency and safety while using excavators in a variety of applications? Are you interested in meeting the machine and work tool needs for customers in every region of the world. As a part of the Excavation Division (EXD) Standard Work Tool team, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a New Product Introduction (NPI) Team Leader where you will drive development of new couplers ranging from the most cost competitive, simple couplers to the most advanced, integrated couplers in the excavator market.

      Specifically, as the NPI Team Leader, you can expect to:

      • Execute excavator coupler NPI programs from concept through production phases
      • Act as the node between Engineering, NPI, and Commercial teams for future coupler development, machine integration, and trade-off discussions
      • Develop requirements and priorities for coupler NPI projects, leveraging input from various internal and external sources
      • Drive execution of EXD’s coupler multi-generational plan, ensuring that we meet customers’ needs across the spectrum of simple mechanical couplers to advanced Tiltrotator Systems (TRS)
      • Provide clarity and communication to development teams and commercial teams throughout the NPI lifecycle
      • Support cross functional teams such as product support, Excavation Supply Management (EXSM), and supply chain teams as needed through product lifecycle

      To be successful in this role, you must bring (Basic Qualifications):

      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college / university, preferably in business or engineering, or equivalent experience
      • A minimum of 8 years of progressive job–related experience
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
      • Experience leading change without authority

      Top candidates will also bring:

      • In-depth knowledge of hydraulic excavators or work tools
      • Strong project management skills
      • Strong ability to balance customer, dealer, enterprise priorities
      • Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
      • Ability to influence change across the organization

      Additional Details:

      • Locations: Peoria, IL or Victoria, TX or Cary, NC
      • 3 days onsite per week is expected
      • Domestic relocation is available to those who qualify for Peoria, IL only
      • 10-25% of travel is expected (international & domestic)
      • ISE assignment is not available for this position
      • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
