      Basic Job Functions:

      The Roll Mill Process & Quality Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the safety, quality, and production initiatives at the division. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Further grow our safety culture within the Roll Mill through new technology, equipment upgrades, and teammate awareness & development. Daily support of our Operational and Quality teams through product development and process improvements.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering discipline, or equivalent years of applicable experience
      • 15+ years of Roll Mill experience
      • Experience in long product rolling and Reheat Furnace Operation
      • Strong knowledge of automation systems that support quality and rolling process

Shows an interest in the business and is focused on doing whatever he/she can do to increase sales and improve profitability. Knows how his/her job affects the success of the division.
      8. Organizing, Planning & Prioritizing Work – Developing specific goals and plans for prioritizing, organizing, and accomplishing individual work and/or the work of the team.
