- Leadership in managing the Division’s accounting and related financial reporting, Credit, Purchasing, and Human Resources functions
- Leadership in protecting Nucor’s assets through risk management activities, maintaining internal controls, and various contract negotiations
- Providing general financial experience and leadership to critically analyze business situations and help formulate vision and strategies
- A key business partner to his or her peers and their departments in order to facilitate continuous improvement across the division
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field with 5 years supervisory experience in accounting or related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting through education and work experience
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft office skills, especially with Microsoft Excel
- CPA or MBA
- Knowledge and competency in contract negotiations
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Tubular Products-North is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Controller to support the North Division in Ghent, Ky, Chicago, IL and Marseilles, IL. This is a Senior level Leadership position at the Division reporting directly to the General Manager. This position is part of the Leadership team that makes Division level decisions.
The role of the Division Controller includes but is not limited to:
