- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid engineering skills, commensurate with grade level.
- Good communication skills, technical writing skills, and computer skills.
- An inquisitive nature, an ability to follow written and verbal directions, and strong professional ethics
- Must be a rising sophomore or junior student studying Electrical or I&C Engineering at an ABET accredited 4-year college or university with graduation no sooner than December 2025.
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Job Summary
We are currently seeking one Summer 2024 Electrical Engineering intern at Millstone Power Station in Waterford, CT.
This System Engineering role includes monitoring and support to the major Electrical Distribution and Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems needed for operation of a large electrical power generating plant.
Control system examples include Main Turbine Controls, Feedwater system controls, and nuclear reactor controls including control rod drive and digital rod position indication. Electrical distribution includes 480VAC, 120VAC, 125VDC, and also large oil cooled power transformers
Activities will include monitoring and trending of system performance, equipment inspections, evaluation of component performance, system walkdowns, corrective actions and component troubleshooting.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Knowledge of basic electrical theories and principles is required.
