      Your Canvas:

      To be a masterpiece in this role, you'll need:

      • Certified Expertise: Hold the crown of a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or ARRT-N, endorsed by AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE) - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
      • Heartbeat of Life: Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
      • Educational Mosaic: Lay the foundation with graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine program. A touch of an associate degree in health sciences or a related field is our preferred brushstroke.
      • Experience Palette: Your canvas will bloom with prior Nuclear Medicine experience or a graduation gown from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, imprinted with the essence of clinical practice.

      Qualifications

      Education:

      Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine

      Experience:

      Preferred: 1-3 years

      Certifications:

      Required: ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT; BLS; state license if required.

      Physical Demands:

      Responsibilities

      Produces high quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment; assists practitioner with operation of radiation detection equipment; orders radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine procedures and prepares them for injection, ingestion, or inhalation; identifies radioactive substance to complete procedures; processes and files films as needed.
