- Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and related functions
- Prepares patient for procedure
- Positions patient in accordance with established protocols or approved physician instructions,
- Prepares and administers proper radiopharmaceuticals for procedures to patients
- Contributes to the achievement of excellence in the department through the adherence to productivity, quality assurance, customer service
- Follows hospital infection control policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine (Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s Degree)
- Current New Jersey license in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- One (1) year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred but not required NJ State license and ARRT or NMTCB certification and current active registration.
- Annual fit testing is required.
- Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR.
