- Further professional qualifications
- 1 year full time professional experience in a Nuclear Medicine Dept.
- Understand and comply with relevant legislation, national standards, professional and other guidelines
- 2 years' experience in direct patient care
- NHS experience
- Experience in SPECT/CT
- PET/CT Experience
- Good knowledge of nuclear medicine instruments
- Experience in data acquisition and analysis of general nuclear medicine procedures
- Computer literate
- I.V. administration and cannulation skill
- Competent in non-imaging investigations and analysis
- BSc in a Science subject or BSc in Radiography or equivalent
- Radiographer - State registration with HPC

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Nuclear Medicine Technologists/Radiographer to join our multidisciplinary team. Our Nuclear Medicine and PET CT departments are spread across two sites: Hammersmith Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital.
The successful candidates would be expected to cover workload across both sites on a rotational basis. We do not have an onsite radiopharmacy, our radiopharmaceuticals are provided to us by an external supplier.
The trust wide PET/CT service is based at Charing Cross Hospital and utilises a Siemens Biograph Vision scanner. Our PET CT service includes 18F-FDG, 68Ga-Dotatate, 68Ga-PSMA, 18F-Choline, 18F-Amyloid studies and numerous research studies using a wide range of radioisotopes.
At Hammersmith Hospital there are two Siemens Intevo Bold SPECT CT scanners which provide a wide variety of hybrid imaging as well as supporting an ever expanding therapy service. Examples of these are bone, parathyroid, stress and rest myocardial perfusion, DAT scans, 177Lutetium, SIRT and Therasphere therapies.
