- Carefully executing each step in the dispensing process according to law, regulatory standards, The University of Kansas Health System, St. Francis policies and standard of care to ensure safe and appropriate medication therapy.
- Perform clinical pharmacist duties in consistent and complete manner using evidence-based medicine to ensure safe, effective and efficient medication therapy.
- Provide medication education to patients, caregivers and other healthcare providers to accomplish safe, effective and efficient medication therapy.
- Accountability for efficient use of resources to maintain optimal patient care and fiscal responsibili
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school
- Kansas Board of Pharmacy license (or license-eligible)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification
- Completion of an ASHP approved residency or BPS Board Certification
- One (1) year prior pharmacy experience
- One (1) to two (2) years hospital pharmacy experience
