      Please join us on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, for WakeMed North's Emergency Department Nursing Event at the Hospital's Conference Center located at 10000 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh. During this event you will have the opportunity to interview, tour WakeMed North's Emergency Department, and learn more about our exceptional culture and exciting career opportunities. The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary provides appropriate secretarial support to patients/families and professional staff to ensure efficient customer oriented service delivery. The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary actively supports and incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The four key concepts of PFCC are: Dignity and Respect = Listen to and honor patient and family perspectives and choices; Information Sharing= Communicate and share complete and unbiased information with patients and families in ways that are affirming and useful; Participation = Patients and families are encouraged and supported in participating in care and decision-making at the level they choose;Collaboration = Patients and families and the Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary collaborate in the delivery of care. The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission vision values and aspirational goals.
