Job summary
We are keen to recruit an experienced acute practitioner who can assess and treat patients requiring urgent same day care. The post holder will also have responsibility for appropriate follow-up with patients and responsibility for results and referrals they generate in the course of their consultations.
We require an experienced independent prescribing practitioner i.e. Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic Practitioner.
The role is for 15 hours over a Thursday and Friday.
Main duties of the job
Reviewing patients with urgent on the day problems providing complete care including ordering tests, referrals and prescribing medication as required. The clinician will also have routine availability to provide continuity of care and follow-up relevant patients and will be responsible for the administration they generate i.e. results.
