- Effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care.
- Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, which allows for consultation, collaboration, or referral.
- Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic, and long-term healthcare issues.
- Educates patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
- Maintains legible, accurate, and confidential medical records. Documents all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations consistent with regulatory standards.
- Facilitates evaluation of records by physician(s), peers, maintaining quality standards according to protocols, and receives and implements constructive directives.
- Analyzes new knowledge gained from conferences, workshops, professional literature, or "hands-on training" and assimilates this knowledge into clinical practice.
- Other duties as assigned. May be required to work non-standard hours and support multiple sites.

Job Reports To: Chief Medical Officer
Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is a healthcare provider who operates independently in a variety of settings, combining advanced nursing skills with clinical, diagnostic, and treatment skills, making professionally autonomous decisions for which he/she is accountable, under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer. The incumbent provides primary healthcare alongside services provided by Practitioners, acting as an advocate to directly increase the availability and accessibility of healthcare for patients across the age spectrum dependent on areas of identified need.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:Required Knowledge and Skills:
Incumbent must have excellent knowledge of advanced nursing practice, experience of prioritizing needs and informed decision making care delivery, ability to work autonomously and independently, self motivated, well developed communication in interpersonal skills, able to influence, inspire and effectively work with others, flexible approach to working at Center and willingness to develop new approaches to care, ability to handle conflict respecting others values and opinions. Experience working with children and adolescents.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a valid PA license as a Registered Nurse and be recognized by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
