Responsibilities Ascension Lourdes is looking for an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for our Lourdes Internal Medicine Vestal Practice. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Lourdes to provide medical services to patients in an Internal Medicine Practice setting. Position Highlights: Work in a well-respected practice alongside experienced Physicians and APPs. Loan forgiveness is available at this certified NHSC site if eligibility criteria is met. Responsibilities: Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care. Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources. Counsels and educates patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy. Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. • Nurse Practitioner credentialed and board certified from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentialing Office will verify licensing. Education: • Master's degree of Nursing required. Additional Preferences Salary Range: $113k-$125k Actual compensation offer will vary based upon role, education, experience, location and qualifications.
