What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide affirming primary care services for women, including gynecological services and holistic care
- Conduct annual exams, manage chronic conditions, and address urgent care concerns
- Participate in interdisciplinary case studies and protocol development
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient care delivery
- Utilize technology to support patient interactions and care management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Board certified Nurse Practitioner (family nurse practitioner preferred) with an unrestricted license in New York
- Ability to provide primary and gynecological care with compassion and empathy
- Proficiency in managing a range of health concerns, including mental health and chronic conditions
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as required
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience or training in procedural skills such as IUD insertions and colposcopies
- Background in delivering care to diverse communities, including trauma-informed and LGBTQ-inclusive care
- Experience integrating complementary medicine practices into care plans
- Contracted with major payers (e.g., BCBS, Cigna, Aetna) is ideal but not required
