What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide seamless continuity of care for established inpatients, including performing admissions and addressing cross-coverage issues
- Collaborate with physicians and other advanced practitioners on admissions, consults, and cross-coverage
- Facilitate appropriate patient transfers within the healthcare system
- Utilize the system-wide Epic EMR for patient documentation and management
- Contribute to closing critical coverage gaps and reducing treatment delays
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be an Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of one year of previous advanced practitioner inpatient hospital experience
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on patient care
- Commitment to enhancing patient safety and satisfaction
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience within a large healthcare system or multi-specialty group
- Familiarity with Epic EMR systems
- Additional certifications relevant to inpatient care
