What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population in various settings
- Perform complete histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement appropriate plans of care based on patient assessments
- Order medications and write prescriptions in accordance with organizational policies
- Maintain high-quality documentation, including admission and progress notes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Nursing required
- Minimum of 3 years of licensed nurse practitioner experience
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License
- Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Advanced skills in triaging patients of all ages
- Strong communication skills to establish effective relationships with patients and staff
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
