      Don't miss the opportunity to join our fantastic Staff Day Nursery at Great Ormond Street Hospital which provides day care for children, aged 3 months to 5 years, whose parents/carers are employed by the Great Ormond Street Hospital for children NHS Foundation Trust.

      Main duties of the job

      We are looking for a fun, passionate and qualified childcare professional, minimum level 3 in childcare and education, who will enjoy working within a dedicated, established team who are committed to providing an excellent quality of provision.

      Key responsibilities include:

      • To provide a fun enabling environment for children to learn and thrive.
      • To act as a key worker to named children, carrying out observations/developmental reports for each child and liaising with parents regularly.
      • Working inpartnership with the team and with parents to act as a positive and professional role model to colleagues and children.

      To be considered for the role you will be:

      You will need to have a minimum Childcare Level 3 qualification and experience of a Nursery Nurse role in a busy nursery environment covering the age range 3 months - 5 years, together with excellent knowledge of the child development and current practices.

      This role will involve working varying shifts between the hours of Monday and Friday from 7.00am - 7.00 so some flexibility is required.
