- Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
- Provide basic nursing care to the patient.
- Assist nursing personnel and physicians in emergency care.
- Accept responsibility for providing safe, appropriate, quality patient care.
- Perform out of bed/back to bed as appropriate.
- Observe patient while performing delegated tasks and report significant findings regarding patient safety, personal needs, and changes in the patient's condition to the licensed nurse.
- Respond to call light promptly and courteously.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Assist patient in wheelchair, on stretcher, and ambulating.
- Monitor vital signs, specimen collection, intake and output, meal consumption, height and weight, blood glucose testing/monitoring, point of care testing.
- Perform any and all other duties assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience.
- CNA certification.
