      Job summary

      We are looking to recruit dynamic and innovative Band 4 Nursing Associate to work within the Beverley, Hornsea and Market Weighton Community Nursing Team which sits within the Integrated Nursing and Conditions services within CHCP CIC. This position will be based at the East Riding Community Hospital in Beverley. The post is full time 37.5 hours per week

      Main duties of the job

      You will be joining a dynamic and proactive nursing team working in partnership with associated health and social care providers. This is an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy developing new ways of working and working under their own initiative and are ready for the challenge of working autonomously in a community setting.

      The ability to commute within the geographical area with access to an appropriate means of transport is essential.

      • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register
      • GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent

      Knowledge

      • Have an understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate and how the role can contribute to service development
      • Understands and acts in accordance with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code
      • Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to appropriate professional for expert help and advice
      • Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans
      • Understands the requirement for NMC professional Revalidation
