- We welcome newly qualified Nurse Associates and experienced Nurse Associates
- The ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels

- Undertaking mental health needs assessments
- Assessment and Management of risk
- Liaising with other services such as, community mental health team, Hospital at Home Team, Mental Health Liaison Team and the Acute Trust
- Effective assessment through SBAR and care planning
- Supervising of junior staff, including students

- Knowledge of the ageing process and related mental and physical health problems
- Knowledge of the individuals responsibility towards health and safety

We have highly rewarding opportunities to join our multidisciplinary inpatient team. We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for older adult mental health and a commitment in providing high quality care.
The service consists of two inpatient wards.
The team at Newhaven are friendly, supportive and exceptionally caring, putting patient care at the heart of the work we do to improve health care outcomes and service delivery.
We can offer up to 37.5 hours a week. Our working patterns are 3-4 long days/ night (07:30-20:00/19:30-08:00) across a four-week period including weekends and bank holidays.
We can offer many future career development opportunities, including registered nurse degree apprenticeships.
