      Key Responsibilities:

      • Create and maintain nursing schedules for the nursing department, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
      • Receives and responds to all calls regarding call outs, holiday/vacation requests, and corresponds to all employee requests.
      • Manage PPD (patient per day) staffing requirements.
      • Completes daily summary form to review hours per patient day and communicates to Director of Nursing.
      • Reconcile timecards and ensure accurate payroll submissions.
      • Report on staff attendance and lateness in accordance with company policies.
      • Maintain and update documentation of credentials, including nurse aide certifications and nursing licenses.
      • Identify staffing vacancies and work to reduce agency use and overtime.
      • Contact staff to fill in for open shifts or callouts to ensure daily staffing ratios are met.
      • Continuously analyzes facility schedules to review open shifts and fill shifts with facility staff.

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum 3 years of experience in a staffing role within a long-term care facility.

      • Experience with UKG Ready (Kronos Workforce Ready Advanced Scheduling) is preferred.

      • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

      • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

      • Knowledge of long-term care staffing regulations and requirements.
