      Job Description

      The Nursing Retention Specialist supports senior leadership in alignment with the organizational and nursing strategic plan to develop and implement retention strategies with a defined return on investment.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • The Nursing Retention Specialist partners with Human Resources, Marketing, Finance and Nursing Leadership to achieve the goals related to nurse retention.

      • The Nursing Retention Specialist uses data/metrics to inform the development of the nurse retention strategies.

      • The Nurse Retention Specialist leads a multidisciplinary team in the development of the nursing retention strategies.

      • Assists with the development and implementation of meaningful recognition activities and events.

      • The Nurse Retention Specialist will maintain knowledge of nursing retention best practices and incorporate employee engagement results into initiatives.

      • The Nurse Retention Specialist will have the ability to provide career guidance for nurses using a 5-year Career Pathway Tool to promote career and academic progression for ECH nurses.

      • The Nurse Retention Specialist will incorporate diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging concepts and principles into retention strategies

      Qualifications

      • BSN with Masters in related field required

      • Leadership and project management experience

      • Demonstrated interpersonal communication expertise

      • Ability to work in a self-directed manner

      • This position is not available for remote work

      • Three-five years clinical nursing experience

      • Comfortable building programs inclusive of diverse backgrounds and lived experience

      License/Certification/Registration Requirements

      CA Registered Nurse License Required

      Salary Range:

      $75.09 - $112.64 USD Hourly
