      Summary Join us for a unique clinical immersion experience for student nurses to enhance nursing skills and gain additional exposure to clinical healthcare specialties. As a Magnet™ Designated organization, participants will receive top notch instruction and guidance for their future success as a registered nurse. Responsibilities Participants can expect: Hands on skills practice in oncology, orthopedics, telemetry, perioperative services and more Individualized learning assessments and plans Mentoring by experienced Mercy nurses Fun networking activities with cohort participants and Mercy nurses Access to Nurse Educators Career pathway assistance Opportunity to explore future nursing employment at Mercy We will be holding two cohorts. The first is January 2nd - 5th and the second is January 9th - 12th. Requirements Must be enrolled in Nursing School. A valid CNA license is required by the beginning of the program. BLS CPR required. Mercy Health Services is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy.
