      Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is seeking a dynamic, highly passionate Nurse Unit Manager on a permanent full time basis at JL Operating Theatres.

      About the role

      As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing operational management and leadership to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your role will involve overseeing patient services, ward or unit management, staff management, with a focus on fostering nursing excellence at the ward/ unit level.

      As this role is specific to several specialties, you are required to have operating theatre experience in Orthopaedics, Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, Colorectal and UGIT.

      We are looking for someone who has…

      • Current AHPRA registration
      • Clinical management and leadership experience in a tertiary/district health care facility
      • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with experience in conflict resolution and performance management
