Informs supervisor/manager of patient/guest comments and food service issues .
Maintains a positive relationship with clinical & non-clinical colleagues, nutrition staff, patients, and their families.
Assuring that the meal tray matches the meal ticket for patient safety as well as identify and correct any errors.
Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Responds to patient requests with compassion and efficiency; communicates with patients regarding service recovery.

Schedule: Per Diem

Our team of experts offer 24/7 emergency room services, ICU care, labor and delivery, cardiology care, surgical services, physical, occupational and speech therapy, imaging and more. The state-of-the-art hospital is connected to a medical office building with a full suite of medical services including internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, endocrinology and more. The role you’ll contribute:
Nutrition Associate 1 acts as customer service liaison between Nutrition Services, Nursing units, and patients with the focus of providing excellent customer service and outstanding patient care. Nutrition Associates perform a variety of duties including but not limited to: food preparation; meal delivery; stocking/restocking of department supplies; sanitation functions; safe food handling; patient menu selections; cafeteria cashier. Nutrition Associate 1 must be able to work accurately and efficiently on multiple tasks throughout the day and is capable of frequently switching tasks to focus on patient requests or other pressing customer service needs.
