      Requirements / Qualifications

      All Nutrition Services Professionals work 181 days per year. All split shift positions receive a 5% split shift differential.

      1. Anna Borba Elementary School (split shift): Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7 AM to 8 AM & 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM AND Wednesday 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
      2. Ayala High School (3 Positions): Hours: Monday 10:45 AM to 1:45 PM AND Tuesday through Friday 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
      3. Cal Aero Academy: Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM AND Thursday 9 AM to 12 PM.
      4. Chino High School (3 Positions): Hours: Monday through Friday 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM.
      5. Chino Hills High School (2 Positions): Hours: Monday 10:45 AM to 1:45 PM AND Tuesday through Friday 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
      6. Don Lugo High School (2 Positions): Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM AND Friday 10:45 AM to 1:45 PM.
      7. Doris Dickson Elementary School: Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM AND Wednesday 9:15 AM to 11:45 AM.
      8. Levi Dickey Elementary School (Split Shift): 3.5 hours per day. Monday through Friday 7 AM to 8 PM; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM AND Tuesday 9:15 AM to 11:45 AM.
      9. Rolling Ridge Elementary School: Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10 AM to 1 PM AND Wednesday 8 AM to 11 AM.

      Required Documents/Attachments

      • Two (2) letters of recommendation - must be signed and dated within the last 24 months. Only wet signatures and e-signatures will be accepted; names typed out in a stylized font will not be accepted as a signature. Letters from relatives are not acceptable.
      • High School diploma or its equivalent.

      Special Requirements

      An offer of employment in this classification is contingent upon passing a physical examination AND obtaining a San Bernardino County Food Handler Card.

      Requirements

      Basic kitchen skills. Experience in kitchen work and serving. Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade, preferably supplemented by courses in cafeteria management, safety and sanitation, and related subjects.

      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All application materials for each applicant will be evaluated by a screening committee. A combination of written, oral, and performance tests may be administered to secure the best qualified applicants. Those who are deemed best qualified will be scheduled for an interview.
