- Provide compassionate, individualized care for patients with obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, PCOS, thyroid disorders, and other endocrine conditions.
- Manage weight loss and lifestyle intervention programs using both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies.
- Oversee treatment plans that may include GLP-1s, insulin management, hormone therapy, and meal-replacement plans.
- Serve as the clinical expert in endocrine conditions impacting metabolic health.
- Consult on complex cases in partnership with primary care and specialty providers across EPIC Health’s network.
- Play a central role in the development and scaling of our integrated Obesity Medicine Program.
- Assist in implementing and optimizing protocols for obesity screening, chronic disease risk assessment, and longitudinal patient monitoring.
- Drive outcomes-based care, including quality improvement initiatives and adherence to value-based care measures.
- Educate patients and caregivers about the connection between metabolic health and long-term wellness.
- Serve as a clinical educator for staff and providers on best practices in obesity and endocrine management.
- Partner with primary care, behavioral health, nutrition, and fitness teams to create seamless care pathways.
- Review labs, imaging, and progress with team members and adjust care plans accordingly.
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
- Active and unrestricted Michigan medical license with the taxonomy of Obesity Medicine and/or Endocrinology
- Board Certification in Endocrinology strongly preferred
- Board Certification in Obesity Medicine
- In good standing with Medicare and Medicaid
- At least 2 years of post-residency experience treating endocrine and/or metabolic conditions
- Experience managing chronic disease, insulin therapy, and obesity-related comorbidities
- Familiarity with value-based care delivery models and multidisciplinary care coordination
- Strong clinical skills in both endocrine and obesity medicine management
- Excellent bedside manner and a deep commitment to patient advocacy
- Clear communicator and proactive collaborator

What You’ll Do
As an Obesity Medicine Physician with Endocrinology experience, you will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team focused on high-impact, high-touch care for vulnerable populations. You’ll work alongside advance practitioner providers, behavioral health providers, care managers, registered dietitians, and fitness coaches to create patient-centered, evidence-based programs that deliver real results.
