We’re looking for a board-certified, primary care-trained physician who’s ready to lead and grow an integrated, multi-disciplinary obesity medicine program that fuses education, primary care collaboration, and forward-thinking treatment strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the clinical lead for our multi-disciplinary weight management program —you’ll work alongside experts in behavioral health, nutrition, exercise physiology, and more.
• Deliver direct patient care with empathy, skill, and an unwavering commitment to outcomes.
• Educate and empower patients, providers, and staff with obesity medicine best practices, ensuring the latest evidence-based approaches are accessible across our care teams.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers to coordinate holistic, integrated treatment plans for long-term success.
• Lead and contribute to program development and continuous quality improvement initiatives across the obesity medicine space.
• Promote quality assurance and outcome tracking to enhance care effectiveness and patient engagement.
• Represent EPIC’s mission through outstanding bedside manner and a fierce commitment to those we serve.

What You Bring

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Obesity Medicine.
• Active Michigan medical license (or eligible) and in good standing with state licensing bodies
• Eligible to sit for the American Board of Obesity Medicine (required within three years of start date)

• Good standing with Medicare and Medicaid
• A passion for lifestyle medicine , care innovation, and addressing the deeper drivers of chronic disease
