Job Description
- Req#: 250002Z2
- Executes daily aspects of the hospital's Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) program for construction and maintenance, including developing ICRA documents, training/education, and audits of active construction projects.
- Participates in follow-up investigations to ensure corrective actions are completed where required.
- Responds to active water leaks to assess and offer remediation recommendations.
- Use of Industrial Hygiene direct-reading instruments will be required.
- Assists in chemical exposure monitoring of team members, including ordering sample media, conducting sampling, completing chain-of-custody forms, interacting with contracted laboratories, and drafting reports.
- Will coach team members in real-time on environmental health and safety matters
- Responds in a timely manner to urgent issues as they develop.
- Delivers presentations/education on topics related to OHST work.
- Calibrates Industrial Hygiene equipment.
- Works with interns, residents, and fellows, as requested.
- Associate's Degree in Health & Safety, Healthcare, or other related field required.
One (1) year related experience. Welcome military with similar qualifications.
An equivalent combination of education and years of experience. Internship or externship experience counts towards years of experience.
